both gemlist and gemlist02.fig have a bug; a proper gemlink is created for each listing, but the filename is only listed once. this means the filename disappears when it becomes a link.
fixgemlist is a quick hack so you can pipe the output of both versions of gemlist to add the filename a second time and fix the links.
